Real Men Talk About It

This store was created with one purpose: to bring awareness to men’s mental health. Too many of us suffer in silence, believing we have to “tough it out” alone. But real strength comes from talking about it. About depression, anxiety, even suicidal thoughts.

I started this project because I fight these battles too. And I believe wearing the message can start conversations that save lives. I want to help normalize the conversation. Every shirt, hoodie, or piece of merch here is more than clothing, it’s a message. A reminder that it’s okay to talk, and that no one has to carry the weight alone.

About

About the Logo: It is more than a symbol — it’s a message of awareness, hope, and resilience.

  • Heart: Because your heart matters. We care about what you feel and want to remind you that you are not alone.

  • Brain: Because depression and anxiety are real, physical conditions. Mental health is just as important as physical health.

  • Gears: Because these struggles affect the way we think, act, and function in our daily lives. Our minds are constantly working, even when it feels heavy.

  • Semicolon: Because you are still here. A semicolon represents a pause, not the end — a reminder that your story isn’t over.

I have spent several years battling depression and anxiety, and I know firsthand the dark hole they can pull you into. For a long time, I felt alone in that struggle, like I had to keep it all inside.

My goal with this project is simple: to remind people, especially men, that it’s okay to talk about our struggles. That opening up doesn’t make us weak, it makes us stronger. None of us are truly alone, even when it feels that way.

We don’t need to stay in that dark hole. There is hope. With God’s strength and the support of people who care, we can climb out and find light again.

I named this project Real Men Talk About It because I believe that true strength isn’t measured by silence or “toughing it out,” but by the courage to admit when we need help and to speak openly about our struggles. Real men face their battles head-on, and talking about it is part of that strength.

Through this store, I hope to spread awareness, spark conversations, and encourage others to step out of silence. If wearing a shirt helps even one person feel less alone, then it’s worth it.
